DR.S.M.IQBAL EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY is a not for profit organisation established in the year 2003 and registered under societies registration act 6 of 1998 (1941 A.D). Named after our grand father Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Iqbal, a renowned educationist and a philanthropist The aim of the society is to establish educational institutions at primary, secondary and undergraduate levels to provide quality education to the upcoming generation.

Ever since 2003, S.M.IQBAL COLLEGE has been providing students with a rich and diverse learning environment. Knowledge, creativity and hands-on experience have always been at our core, and we’re proud of the generations of students who have graduated from our College. We always encourage both staff and students to grow, learn and create each passing day.
In its endeavour, the Society has started educational programme at School and UG levels in the field of Arts, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Technology etc.
Today, it has become a great educational- banyan tree and acquired a status of one of the fastest growing educational institute in the entire Kashmir Valley. The educational institutions run by the Society are highly renowned- known for academic excellence and impeccable moral values.
Besides, spreading education, the Society is also very deeply involved in various types of welfare activities for the society particularly for the poor, needy and downtrodden people. Providing scholarships, liberal financial and material support to the students studying at primary, secondary and higher secondary level, organising blood donation camps, free medical and health check up camps, tree plantation week etc.
Our team comprises of people from various backgrounds with a collective aim to strike a balance of formal education with the goals of raising healthy, happy children who grow to become contributing members of families and society.

S. M. IQBAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION also known as SMICE was established in 2003 (A 2B recognised institute of University Grants Commission) affiliated to the University of Kashmir and recognised by Jammu and Kashmir government.
The college offers Bachelor of Education course, which is one of the important benchmark for some one interested in pursuing career in teaching anywhere throughout the globe.
Each year hundreds of students from different states, different background and origins enrol themselves with us to achieve their potential and make a rewarding contribution to their own communities. We provide hostel facilitates for boys and girls prior to the bookings made by them at the time of enrolment.

S. M. IQBAL COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT & IT was established in 2009 as the School of Business Studies affiliated to University of Kashmir and recognised by Jammu and Kashmir government.
It offers undergraduate degree program Bachelor of Business Administration for individuals who have successfully passed their high school with a minimum of 45% aggregate from any recognised board in India.
